Joint exhibition - alongside artist Carina Chambers
While I had exhibited in several group exhibitions this was my debut large show with just one other artist. It was an extremely exciting show and I was thrilled that my work all sold the week of opening.
About the exhibition:
Sophie Corks & Carina Chambers celebrate the local towns and surrounding landscapes of our local region through bright and bold colour palettes.
Carina uses an expressive application of colour and texture to focus on our British style countryside with its rolling hills, manicured paddocks and tree lines, all kissed by the big skies of our region.
Sophie captures the playful and whimsical personalities of our historic towns and buildings through vivid and fluid shapes
